what a horse ,rocklion you and your friend want to fullfill your ambitions i was an apprentice with w ogorman in 69 at newmarket unfortunatelly put weight on and was advised to go jump racing which i declined (prize money) my only advise is keep your weight down and work hard at school good luck pete

Don't think it's ever happened before in the televised era. Doubt it will ever happen again! There's a scientific term for bursting into the lead that far out, it's called.....taking the absolute piss!! One of the best races to watch, and show a non racing fan to get them liking it! :)

Being a Shergar fan, just curious: Anyone heard of a horse going for the lead in the derby at tatt corner and keeping it? Just over 2f left and he's 5-6l clear? Easiest ride Walter ever had, get up, hold on, enjoy the ride!

Shergar and Red Rum ...
Shergar and Red Rum didn't race together. Red Rum was a steeplechaser and Shergar a sprinter so neither could race against each other.
